Poi

     I really stared appreciating the art of poi in Boracay. I saw a poi performance in the sands bar a couple of years ago. It was really amazing. I saw poi dancers do such spectacular stunts. One of them did a back flip with poi on his hands. Meanwhile, another poi dancer threw his poi on the air and still caught it without any error. They also performed to dance music which really made it more interesting for me to watch. They would incorporate dance music in their poi dance such as songs from Lady Gaga. What makes their performance more captivating is the musically of it. Every dance and move that they make are really connected to the music. Besides this, their performance would also last for 10-15 minutes. This made their performance really powerful because they would bring a climax to their performance which would really catch the attention of all the viewers. Finally, it's really cool that they would let the audience have pictures with them while they do poi around you. There would usually be great poi effects on the pictures taken because of this. I really respect poi and I hope I can get to learn this art some time in my life.
